The missing weapons systems officer (WSO) from the downed F-15E Strike Eagle has been located alive inside Iran, according to emerging reports, after hours of uncertainty following the aircraft’s crash.

The WSO was reportedly found in Iran’s Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, where he had been evading capture as Iranian forces and civilians searched the area.
