On June 28, activists were supposed to flood Washington, D.C. for a “National March on Washington” to “Stop the War on Iran,” backed by the ANSWER Coalition and a familiar cast of radical-left organizations. But the protest, which had been heavily promoted online and across social media, never actually happened. It was “delayed,” organizers claimed—without clear explanation.
Some are now asking: Was this even meant to happen? Or was it a political maneuver designed to force police response, stir media buzz, and create false momentum for anti-American narratives backed by foreign money?

A Protest That Wasn’t — Or Was It?
The June 28 “National March” was promoted by ANSWER Coalition, whose events routinely feature pro-Iran, anti-Israel, and anti-American rhetoric. But this time, there was no crowd. No march. Just silence. It raises a question: Was this a false flag protest? Was the goal simply to provoke security deployment and generate fear or headlines—without showing up?
In law enforcement terms, it mirrors a political form of SWATing: mobilize government resources under false pretenses, creating public disruption while the organizers sit back and observe. And if that’s the case, it’s not just dishonest—it’s potentially criminal.
So Who’s Paying for This?
The trail leads straight to a familiar name: Neville Roy Singham.
- A reclusive multimillionaire living in Shanghai, Singham is under FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) investigation for allegedly acting as a foreign agent for China.
- He has poured millions into far-left nonprofits, including The People’s Forum, Tricontinental Institute, and No Cold War, all of which are deeply critical of U.S. foreign policy and cozy with anti-Western regimes.
- These same groups are tied to the ANSWER Coalition, which organized the now-phantom protest.
The Strategy: Influence Without Donation
Singham’s operation is sophisticated. He doesn’t write checks to candidates. Instead, his network builds infrastructure: they organize protests, generate viral social media content, and coordinate media narratives through “independent” publications. This shadow support boosts aligned candidates without triggering campaign finance laws.
Which brings us to New York City.

Enter Zohran Mamdani: The DSA’s Trojan Horse?
Mamdani, a 33-year-old Democratic Socialist and member of the New York State Assembly, just won the Democratic primary for NYC mayor, defeating political veterans including Andrew Cuomo. His rise has shocked many—especially considering his previously limited name recognition.
So how does a political unknown beat a former governor?
- He’s backed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
- The DSA shares platforms, rallies, and causes with Singham-funded groups.
- DSA was listed right alongside ANSWER Coalition on the June 28 flyer.
- DSA candidates have benefited from bundled “small dollar” donors, many likely funneled through politically aligned nonprofits.
There is no direct financial trail (yet) linking Singham to Mamdani’s campaign—but there is a growing body of evidence suggesting influence through parallel infrastructure.
If that sounds familiar, it’s because this is the foreign influence model perfected by Russia, China, and Iran: fund the culture, sway the media, mobilize the protests, and let the domestic activists take the blame.
What Happens When These Groups Influence Elections?
While conservatives are routinely scrutinized for the source of campaign donations, there is little to no enforcement of foreign funding for left-wing activism.
Why?
Because the left uses nonprofits, educational “institutes,” and issue-based coalitions to shield their finances. These networks operate in the gray space between political activity and cultural agitation—making them hard to regulate under existing laws.
And the result? Radical candidates win. Protests disrupt communities. And foreign narratives creep into American discourse.
Were Iranian Flags on Backorder?
One final question that makes this entire story more absurd: Why did the June 28 protest get delayed?
Some online users joked that the flag supply chain from Tehran was behind schedule, but in reality, the delay may have served a dual purpose:
- Allow time for international allies to regroup, and
- Create chaos by forcing DC law enforcement to mobilize unnecessarily—training, staffing, overtime—without a crowd to manage.
In essence: disrupt the system without needing a single protester to show up.
Final Thought: This Isn’t Just a Protest. It’s a Warning.
Whether it’s George Soros funding radical prosecutors or Neville Singham building a Marxist megaphone from Shanghai, foreign billionaires are shaping American streets and ballots, and no one seems to care—except the people forced to live with the consequences.
This isn’t about war or peace—it’s about power, manipulation, and a political class too afraid to follow the money.
We don’t need a protest to say it:
This isn’t democracy. It’s ideological colonization—funded by billionaires who hate America.
